Motorola and AT&T Brings the QA1 Karma Phone to the Table

Amidst the furor created by the release of iPhone 3Gs, Motorola wants a piece of the action by launching its latest phone – the Motorola QA1. To be released through AT&T, the Motorola QA1 Karma is bringing some nifty social networking features topped by quick access to Facebook and MySpace.Motorola Karma QA1 is a curvy and compact mobile device which borders on the edge of being cool and ugly at the same time. The Motorola Karma QA1 provides quick access to various social networks through a nice little icon directly placed on the phone’s home screen – just like the iPhone does. Supporting this social networking feature is the phone’s slide-out QWERTY keyboard, high resolution display and 3G connectivity of course.

Complementing to its social networking features is the phone IM-style texting functionality as well as access to various Instant Messaging client such as Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.

Other features of the Motorola Karma QA1 include easy scroll navigation, CrystalTalk technology, JuiceCaster support, A-GPS, 2.0 megapixel camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Karma will be available in AT&T stores and online beginning June 28.

The phone also supports AT&T’s Navigator with turn-by-turn directions.

The Motorola QA1 Karma will be available on June 28. It goes for $79.99 after mail-in-rebate with a two-year contract.
